Package: lightdm-gtk-greeter
Version: 2.0.2-1
Severity: normal
lightdm-gtk-greeter sets the locale to the first available one
(aa_DJ.utf8 in my case, as I have all locales installed) instead
of keeping the system one. The consequence is that I can see in
the .xsession-errors file after logging in:
Xsession: X session started for vlefevre at tal nah 21 3:42:54 carra CET 2017
[...]
dbus-update-activation-environment: setting LANG=aa_DJ.utf8
[...]
Note: /etc/environment is empty and /etc/default/locale contains:
# File generated by update-locale
#LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE="en_US:en"
Possibly related to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=735401
but I don't understand this bug very well.
