Dear Maintainer,

I use two computers (call them "A" and "B") running debian
stretch. On each, a folder is synchronized to one seafile
folder. On both machines, I use thunar within the xfce WM.

An hourly cronjob runs a script on A which creates some pdf files
and overwrites the existing ones in the synchronized folder. If
the folder is opened during this renewal of the files, thunar
crashes on computer B. The roles can be changed, if I run the
script on B, thunar crashes on A.

I can not trigger that behavior by just manipulating some files
in that folder manually (using touch, rm and mv).

The folder of question contains 16 pdf files with a total size of
2.4M.

The problem occurs just after upgrading from jessie to stretch.

"Crashing" here means that the thunar window gets inactive and
does not react anymore. When I start thunar from a terminal
with "thunar <folder>", no error message shows up.

Only the instance of thunar showing the folder in question
crashes. Other thunar windows are not affected.
