 I'd like this functionality too.  The attached patch seems to do the right
 thing after some trivial testing on my part.  When constructing the
 playlists, it adds the sorted filenames in a directory first, and then
 descends directories afterwards, sorting the directory names as well.  I
 also added malloc checking to playlist_create since its use in ogg123.c
 does not seem to check the return value.  I'm just working off of what
 Debian unstable has, I don't know how this might apply to more recent
 code.
