pkg-xiph activity?

Hi,
I was having a look at pkg-xiph, specifically libtheora which is has a
particularly unpleasant bug #528710.

Judging from -commits there doesn't seem to be much activity lately, is anyone
still interested in said packages or they can be orphaned or someone take over
the group or whatever?
