Package: vorbis-tools
Version: 1.2.0-6
Severity: normal

With the same source wav file, encoding on the amd64 architecture works fine:

------
$ oggenc 05\ Main\ Theme_Memory.wav
Opening with wav module: WAV file reader
Encoding "05 Main Theme_Memory.wav" to
         "05 Main Theme_Memory.ogg"
at quality 3.00
	[ 99.6%] [ 0m00s remaining] -

Done encoding file "05 Main Theme_Memory.ogg"

	File length:  1m 19.0s
	Elapsed time: 0m 03.2s
	Rate:         25.1006
	Average bitrate: 98.4 kb/s
------

On the armel arch, the produced file is twice less in bitrate, and when listened, plays only silence:

------
$ oggenc 05\ Main\ Theme_Memory.wav
Opening with wav module: WAV file reader
Encoding "05 Main Theme_Memory.wav" to
         "05 Main Theme_Memory.ogg"
at quality 3.00
	[100.0%] [ 0m00s remaining] \

Done encoding file "05 Main Theme_Memory.ogg"

	File length:  1m 19.0s
	Elapsed time: 4m 54.7s
	Rate:         0.2698
	Average bitrate: 45.3 kb/s
------
