Bug#745857: ogg123 outputs corrupt sound when pulseaudio is installed

Package: vorbis-tools
Version: 1.4.0-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

thanks for maintaining vorbis-tools!

I've got a problem, when I install pulseaudio. ogg123 doesn't play the correct
sound; instead it stutters in a way that I thought the .ogg files are corrupt.
Removing pulseaudio fixes the problem.

I'm not quite sure, if I've made any personal preferences for ogg123, nor where
these are stored, so please ask (preferrable with details to file locations).

My soundcard is a Creative Audigy 2 ZS, which supports multi-open (up to 64
channles iirc).

Anything I can help with tracking down this bug?

Cheers,
  Stefan.
