Migrate to git - quickly?

Yes, me too. The "libvorbis" git repo supports "--git-pristine-tar" and
also the git-buildpackage patch queue.
Could you have a quick look at it, to see, if you agree on the branch
layout etc., before I convert all the other packages the same way?

Well, most of them are in unstable, but they may not be maintained by
the pkg-xiph-maint group any more.
I'd distinguish between:
1. Packages currently maintained by pkg-xiph-maint and in unstable: High
priority to convert them to git and bring them in shape.
2. Packages that are maintained by other developers now: I'd say, we
don't care at all about those repositories. They have probably been
forked by their new maintainers anyway.
3. Orphaned and/or removed packages (I count 3 of them: libspiff,
libannodex, libcmml): They all seem to have dead upstreams, so it's very
unlikely that they are worth being reactivated. But we can still think
about this.
