My plan for libvorbis towards Jessie

I was planning to upload the git version of libvorbis to unstable, but
then I noticed that the patched version would enter testing before the
last upload deadline before the freeze, and decided to allow my NMU to
enter testing in case there is something wrong with the next upload
that block it from making it into the Jessie release.
After looking at the changes to libvorbis 1.3.4 compared to version
1.3.2 currently in Debian, and noticing header file changes that
looked like they would cause ABI changes (and thus possibly breaking
programs linked with the library), I did not dare to upload the 1.3.4
version from git (aka the master branch), and instead decided to make
a less intrucive upload to change the uploader list and the VCS links.
This is in the new-uploaders branch in git. Are there other changes
that should be in this version? I plan to upload it tomorrow, as soon
as the 1.3.2-1.5 version enter testing.
To get the 1.3.4 version into Debian, I believe we should start by
uploading it to experimental, and once the freeze is over and Jessie
is released, upload it to unstable.
Do you agree with this approach? Can you please review the changes in
the new-uploaders branch and ensure that all the "safe" changes are
included there for the Friday upload.
