Do you mean that some volunteer on the pkg-zfsonlinux-devel team should
review and forward the bug reports that might be relevant?  That seem
like putting an unreasonable burden on your fellow volunteers.

To me, taking responsibility for maintaining Debian specific patches
involves joining the team and handling the bug reports as they come in.
