It is fine to track the bugs in launchpad. I tried to setup the
bugtracker and attach it to the Ubuntu Zope Team where you are an admin.

Sure, I responded to the bug. In summary:

    * Would be great if you could look at virtual packages to try solve your issue. 
    * Not having the __init__.py file for a namespace package is quite risky.
