Removing the package from testing doesn't mean that the package is
automatically removed from testing systems.

I have a few packages installed in my lenny that have been removed from
lenny: they show up as 'obsolete or locally installed', but they are
still installed and properly working.

Or did I misunderstand what you were up to?
