[Popcon-developers] convert popcon repository to git?

Hi all,

Would it be helpful for me to convert the popcon SVN repo to git? I've
done a number of these conversions in the past and find git a much nicer
system to use than SVN. I'm not in the alioth group so I would need
someone else to check the results and put the repository in place & use.
