I also get errors in /var/log/syslog:
Jul  8 07:50:24 linutop popularity-contest: unable to submit report to http://popcon.debian.org/cgi-bin/popcon.cgi.
Jul  8 22:02:10 linutop popularity-contest: unable to submit report to http://popcon.debian.org/cgi-bin/popcon.cgi.
Jul  8 22:02:10 linutop popularity-contest: unable to submit report.

My timezone is: UTC+0200

I installed the package <http://people.debian.org/~ballombe/popcon/debs/popularity-contest_1.63~pre2_all.deb> as recommended in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=709892#145
$ md5sum popularity-contest_1.63~pre2_all.deb
98e86c145fc5377c1c6b796c63b66d41  popularity-contest_1.63~pre2_all.deb

And I just got an email from cron:
/etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest: 69: /etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest: runuser: not found

This is strange because runuser is present on my system:
$ type -a runuser
runuser est /sbin/runuser

$ dlocate /sbin/runuser
util-linux: /sbin/runuser


I also executed /etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest directly and I get no error this time:
$ sudo /etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest
[sudo] password for rousseau:
$

I can also send you my MY_HOSTID if that helps.
