I don't have a horse in that race, but if we do end up with a GitHub org I agree that it'll be nice to have everyone collaborating in the same place.
In the meantime, I've set up: https://bitbucket.org/xcolour/snapshot.debian.org/
Justin -- I've added you as an admin. If anyone else wants to contribute, let me know!
I'm thinking our plan of attack should be:
1. Figure out how to get the current thing running locally
2. Create a new flask app alongside the current one ("newweb/" in the root of the repo?)
3. Split up the controllers and start hacking!
How's that sound? I've got some time today and can probably knock out either #1 or #2.
