I think that diferent packages make sense for diferent people in the
context of cuantitative analysis. 4.4GB is a huge size and maybe nobody
needs everything but everybody needs something. Quantian could get biger
with the time, and for me this is a concern (in fact this is the reason
I choose make my own LiveCD Distro, SciLix). Would be nice to have a
modular Quantian with interchangeable parts. I think that this could be
make using metapackages (a la debian) or minimodules (a la morphix). So
the people interested in scientific computing can choose the
metapackages of quantian that fit their needs and desired size.
