SOAP querying is on of the mail goals[1] of reportbug v4.0, and the
first pre-release v3.99.0 is already in experimental.

I think I will work on it in about a week or so, as soon as I'll see
Don's debconf talk video, and play a bit with
python-debianbts/python-btsutils.
