  Hello,

  I also witness the freeze problem reported by others when using
querybts/reportbug. Though the work-around is really simple (browse bugs
on bugs.debian.org and use reportbug -b), I think I found the cause of
the problem: it seems to be linked to the encoding used by names for the
"reported by" field for non-ascii names. On a ISO-8859-1 locale,
querybts freezes around bug 231 for iceweasel, but it does not on a
uxterm (UTF-8 terminal). See:

  Either disable the "reported by" feature (though assuredly
interesting, it is not a major feature of querybts ;-)...), or cleanup
the strings so they won't clash with the user's locale.

  This bug really must be fixed for lenny, as it is a major hindrance
for non UTF8 users.
