Well, you are not forced to put them alone on a page. :)

As far as UI is concerned, check how preferences are handled in
any program. You have checkboxes in the middle of all preferences
and not a serie of questions in modal windows.

Such Yes/No dialogs are mainly used to confirm actions like "Do you really
want to remove foo?" and similar _action_. It's not used for
configuration.
