Yes, you could just send a followup mail to bugno at bugs.debian.org but
this isn't supported via reportbug yet (see #214103).

No.  But you could "querybts ftp.debian.org" and look at the list of
bugs.  Also, http://ftp-master.debian.org/ has logs of removals on a per
year basis.
