indeed, also because it works fine here :S

$ dpkg -s nanoblogger-extra
Package: nanoblogger-extra
Status: unknown ok not-installed
Priority: optional
Section: web

well, that's an interesting question, but I don't have an answer about
it yet. Currently there's no plane to migrate away from "plain" dpkg
for packages querying.

mh, you can probably looking at what's teh status of
/var/lib/dpkg/available and /var/lib/dpkg/status in regards to
nanoblogger-extra, maybe also the Packages file of apt, but it
shouldn't matter in this case.

Anyhow, I'm less inclined to consider this report as a bug in
reportbug, but let's see how deep we go :)
