Hi,

I've just run 
  dpkg-hold python && aptitude hold python

so now `dpkg -l python' shows
  hi  python               2.7.8-1         i386            interactive high-level object-oriented languag

reportbug however seems to fail to properly interpret the above line,
and, as you can see below, shows python as an uninstalled package.
