There is nothing in reportbug code to redirect to mepis, but that
could be driven by either some particular configuration on your
machine (like a redirect at SMTP level) or a configuration of the
package, like using the 'send-to' control option, so is it possible
you are using a xiphos package originally distributed by Mepis and not
the Debian package?
