Hi all,
This message has been lost in a huge pile of mailing list messages. that
didn't get sorted in various folders since my very troublesome upgrade
to kmail2.. So it's only now that I'm reading it.
Thanks Thomas for the welcome, and Hi to everyone else on this list.
My involvement with resolvconf started in 2009, when I was bitten by
various incompatibilities between ubuntu and resolvconf, and decided to
integrate resolvconf with upstart. Upstart integration was posted to one
of the resolvconf/ubuntu bugreports, but maintainership in ubuntu proved
to be nonexistent, so after seeing no improvement after a couple of
ubuntu releases I decided to go at it myself.
So, my aim is to become maintainer of resolvconf in ubuntu, and work in
concert with Debian to get resolvconf in a good state on ubuntu while
keeping the differences to debian resolvconf at a minimum.
Regards,
Sander van Grieken
