Error message: as in my title, and the same as in bug report #718232. (I
did attempt to send a report to 718232 at bugs.debian.org, as advised by
message 32 of the original report, but the e-mail bounced because the
bug has been archived.) I note that it is now some three years after the
initial bug report.

Linux Mint 18.1 x64 (based on Xenial x86_64). Kernel 4.4.0-57-generic.
