    This message has been lost in a huge pile of mailing list messages.
    that didn't get sorted in various folders since my very troublesome
    upgrade to kmail2.. So it's only now that I'm reading it.<br>

    My involvement with resolvconf started in 2009, when I was bitten by
    various incompatibilities between ubuntu and resolvconf, and decided
    to integrate resolvconf with upstart. Upstart integration was posted
    to one of the resolvconf/ubuntu bugreports, but maintainership in
    ubuntu proved to be nonexistent, so after seeing no improvement
    after a couple of ubuntu releases I decided to go at it myself.<br>
    <br>
    So, my aim is to become maintainer of resolvconf in ubuntu, and work
    in concert with Debian to get resolvconf in a good state on ubuntu
    while keeping the differences to debian resolvconf at a minimum.<br>
