[sane-standard] Avoiding multiple types/units possibilities per options

Hi,

Somes well known options has two possibilities for types and units. This
lead to more complicated code in frontend.

For example : resolution can be either of type INT or FIXED, scan area
options can be of unit mm or pixels.

Does it worth adding such choices ?
