[Secure-testing-team] Linux Kernel SMBFS Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities

Good day,

is there anything we can do regarding CAN-2004-0883 and CAN-2004-0949?

My understanding is that all kernels images of testing are vulnerable :-(

What is the best way to go? Patch current 2.4.27/2.6.8 or go with
2.4.28/2.6.10 ?

Or this is not our work and we just have to wait for the kernel team?

If you know something I can do to help regarding this issue please tell me.
