Hi,

the following vulnerability was published for elfutils.

CVE-2017-7612[0]:
| The check_sysv_hash function in elflint.c in elfutils 0.168 allows
| remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer
| over-read and application crash) via a crafted ELF file.

If you fix the vulnerability please also make sure to include the
CVE (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures) id in your changelog entry.
