i think it is difficult/impossible for a test design to demonstrate how 
the claim "use less than 8k threads if it is too much" hold true.

at some point, in all discussions, it becomes neccessary to appeal to 
common sense. i do so here. common sense say that my test designs are 
workable across languages with different kinds of concurrency, on 
different hardware/operating systems, by using different values for n.

unless you can explain to me where i am mistaken i will conclude that we 
have to agree to disagree on this point.
