I've updated the scores on the website (actually, I checked the code in
and the website updated on its own). Unfortunately, I somehow munged
up the chromacoding step, so the HTML copies of the source are not all
updated.
If you are concerned an update you e-mailed recently is not in the
archive, please take a look at the CVS via the web interface
(http://cvs.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/shootout/bench/?
cvsroot=shootout).
====================================================
A note for CVS committers:
The shootout is a pretty fragile beast. It relies on file names to
drive the tests that get run. This is not ideal, but it's the way it
was originally set up, and I'm too lazy to change it now (volunteers
welcome!)
This means that all test implementations must be of the form:
[Test Name].[Language Implementation]
If you use something more logical, such as [Test Name].[File Extension]
the test will not get run, and we get a 'failed' message for some
unknown language called 'ICL' or 'IFC', etc.
Consequently, please do not check files in with extensions such as
"ifc" or "py" or "pl", as they will not get run. I have to then
manually remove the file from CVS, rename it, add it back to CVS, and
then rerun the tests.
Sorry for this inconvenience, but if we keep to this naming scheme,
everything works properly out of the box.
Thanks!
