hi all,

i've had a go at this and put up a brief description at:

i expect this will become more complicated than it is, but hopefully, the
principles will be enough to make it work...  i don't have anywhere near the
experience with benchmarks as Isaac and Brent, and i'm sure that their
invaluable contributions to the shootout will help shape the shootin.  of
course, the shootin may prove to be totally impractical, and fold in the first
few hours of it's inception :)
