Package: simple-cdd
Version: 0.3.13
Severity: important
- Run build-simple-cdd in an empty folder without configuration.
- Install the debian-6.0.2-amd64-CD-1.iso in VirtualBox OSE 4.0.4.
- Select German keyboard layout.
- Finish installation and reboot.
- Keyboard layout is US. :(
Some files from the newly installed system:
/var/log/installer/cdebconf/questions.dat:
Name: console-keymaps-at/keymap
Template: console-keymaps-at/keymap
Value: de-latin1-nodeadkeys
/etc/default/keyboard:
XKBMODEL="pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="de"
XKBVARIANT="nodeadkeys"
XKBOPTIONS=""
/etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf:
KEYMAP=n
The package kbd is not installed, so loadkeys is not available. But even
if you install console-common manually, the keyboard layout is not set
at system startup.
