This is due to kernel and module version mis-match in debian-installer
currently included in Jessie, which was built with an older kernel
version, and the udebs in Jessie are now based on 3.16.7-ckt7-1:

  https://bugs.debian.org/779922

You can use the daily images instead as a temporary workaround by
setting in profiles/default.conf:

  export DI_WWW_HOME=default

Note that there is no signature verification possible using the daily
images.

Another workaround would be to build your own updated debian-installer
images and tell simple-cdd to use it in profiles/default.conf:

  custom_installer=/path/to/your/custom/installer/build

A fixed version of debian-installer should hit jessie relatively soon...

This is a variation of:

  https://bugs.debian.org/548919

Since there's nothing simple-cdd can really do to resolve this (when you
feed simple-cdd broken images, simple-cdd produces broken images),
marking as wontfix.
