[Splashy-devel] Bug#410623: splashy: Fails to create directory in read-only /lib/init/rw

Package: splashy
Version: 0.3.0
Severity: important

Hi!

After upgrading to splashy 0.3, the splash screen is only shown on
shutdown but not when booting. Quite early in the boot process, just
after "(Re)generating splash steps for", an error is displayed saying
that mkdir could not create /lib/init/rw/splashy due to the file system
being read-only.

Thanks for looking into this!

Regards,
   Georg
