Package: splashy
Version: 0.3.3
Followup-For: Bug #422930

Hello again,

I tried to create an strace to investigate what is causing the cpu load. I added "strace -ff -o$DIR/splashy-strace " in front of
"/sbin/splashy boot" in /etc/init.d/splashy but that did not work. Splashy was showed but was not doing anything (the progress bar
"showed" 0%; I was able to continue by pressing ESC). Can you give me a hint to do it right? Will a trace even help you?

Regards,
Benjamin
