( you don't see vga=791 or 788 because it will not boot otherwise ! i get a
blank screen with a flashing hd led. )

ls: cannot access /dev/fb*: No such file or directory
i have kernel 2.6.25-trunk on compaq presarion 1500 + ATI Technologies Inc
Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500]
any ideas ?
