Hi Luis,

I have tried the patch both editing lsb-base-logging.sh and replacing it with 
git version and the result is always the same. In the end of the booting 
process the system locks! I had an hard time trying to reboot my PC, sometime 
the power button worked and sometime not. I have tried with my custom kernel 
2.6.25.6 and previous stock 2.6.24 kernel.
Maybe others are experiencing a better behavior. If you have other solutions I 
will gladly try them. Bye
