Hi,
I've been runing splashy on radeonfb for at least half a year now, without any
problems (that would be caused by radeonfb). In particular, I have not funny
problems.
The only problem that I have been seeing is a bug in radeonfb's suspend code,
during hibernate, when drivers are frozen, my screen becomes garbage (but that
is completely the fault of the kernel driver and does not hinder hibernation
in any way).
I'm on amd64 with an express 200M (RS482) chipset. I am running with radeonfb
builtin and the radeonfb.noaccel kernel option (without it, X wouldn't start).
I did not modify my initramfs to include anything special.
Perhaps this is chipset specific?
Gr.
Matthijs
