[Splashy-devel] Bug#511604: splashy: There is no /usr at boot time

Package: splashy
Version: 0.3.13-3
Severity: normal

The head line is provoking of course ;-)

splasy does not work if there is no /usr at boot time.
Just create a system with a separate /usr partition install splashy and try
to boot.

This will not work because this violates the very very old law:
"never ever put stuff in /usr or /var needed for boot time" because
they may not exist before mounting.

Splashy does not work because all themes are in /usr/share/splashy/themes.
