Hey,

I saw your post to #splashy about Splashy v0.3.6 not compiling on your
AMD box. The error [1] does not appear to be splashy specific. It
seems that when doing static compilations against your libc6, some
reference to other needed function is not found.

I'd suggest that you compile Splashy non-static (aka shared). If you
pull the source code from our Git repository [2], you will see that
our new default compilation method is to use shared libs. Static
compilation will still be supported, we just default to shared libs
from now on.

In addition, please subscribe to splashy-users [3] and send your
messages/inquiries/kudos to that list. That way other users will
benefit from these discussions. #splashy IRC channel is great to get
one-on-one help whenever you are doing something (and people are
available to help).
