[Splashy-users] Getting Splashy running

Hey,

I'm dual-booting Debian Etch on a Macbook with LILO and I'm having trouble getting Splashy to start.  I let Aptitude do its work from the unstable repository and I added 'vga=791' and 'append="quiet splash"' to /etc/lilo.conf.  I'm still getting an error message at boot that says (with an orange *) that to enable splashy on a multiuser runlevel, I need to add splash to my kernel's command line.  Is there something I'm missing?
