[Splashy-users] Getting Splashy running

Hey,
Here's what I get from /proc/fb and /proc/cmdline:
$ cat /proc/fb
0 VESA VGA
1 VGA16 VGA
$ cat /proc/cmdline
auto BOOT_IMAGE=Linux ro root=803 splash
Any idea why Splashy isn't starting (see below for my original message)?
