I do not think that Thomas is really interested in providing "support"
for the machines he is providing for free.  In case you think the
problem is not related to DNS my strategy would be to try to create an
as small as possible chunk of code that shows the problem.  May be you
create an extract from the whole code "test_fetching_mbox" and we have
a look at this (or ask for help in some mailing list / IRC channel).
