Thank you for the hint. You are right, this seems to be a worthwhile
package. OTOH, as it acts on the system level, I would feel
uncomfortable to upload it to Debian without using it myself. But in
this case, this is no problem, as Stephen Birch <sgbirch at imsmail.org>
has filed an ITP[1] for it, so it should be in Debian soon.

Thanks for the offer. You should mail Stephen if he would appreciate
help, and maybe point him to the Ubuntu package - his ITP is some months
old by now.
