It's probably a bit of "oh, we have these few possible meetings, and
they they must not be wasted, and if I'd step up and try to organize
things and fail (either at organizing or at producing results), that's
shame.

Also, especially for things like Laptop integration, you need people
whose opinion is important to other maintainers, as chances are most
likely inter-package-ist, or have other deep impact (/me thinks of
pushing the use of ifplugd as a standard and moving network related
stuff out of rc.d into ifup.d/ifdown.d)

But maybe I'm worrying too much :-)
