Subject: base: Boot log shows detection of non-existent Firewire device
Package: base
Severity: normal

*** Please type your report below this line ***

==Knoppix 5.1==
During the boot message sequence the logs show/suggest that udev has
detected a Firewire device.
Since this system is a 1997 PII 266 without any interesting add ins I
think that the messaeg is misleading!

I will be happy to provide further information.
