[Virtual-pkg-base-maintainers] Bug#505841: base: Computer can suspend, restart and shutdown but cannot hibernate!

My swapfile doesn't automatically swap itself on at boot but I manually swapped it on and then attempted to hibernate my computer and it doesn't work. Instead, it goes to the screensaver and then 
locks the screen.
