Sorry for the slow response.  Is this still reproducible?  What kernel
are you using these days?

If you can still reproduce it, please attach:

 - full "dmesg" output from a normal boot
 - output from "reportbug --template linux-image-$(uname -r)"

It would also be interesting to hear how a 3.x.y kernel from sid,
experimental, or squeeze-backports behaves, if you have time to try
it.  The only packages from outside squeeze aside from the kernel
image itself that should be needed for this test are linux-base and
initramfs-tools.
