Package: base
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Running

update-rc.d -f samba stop

I know I'm missing a parameter, I'm reporting that the script has a bug
when the parameter is missing.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

   * What was the outcome of this action?

update-rc.d: using dependency based boot sequencing
Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/sbin/update-rc.d line
490.
update-rc.d: warning: start runlevel arguments (none) do not match
samba Default-Start values (2 3 4 5)
update-rc.d: warning: stop runlevel arguments (none) do not match samba
Default-Stop values (0 1 6)

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The use of uninitialize value should be caught
