When using Debian on a USB stick with the kive-boot project, after upgrading the kernel to version number: 2.6.32-5-686, the system isn't able to mount a vfat filesystem anymore.
dmesg report the foolowing: vfat: Unknown symbol utf8s_to_utf16s_fixed
